Leo Coro Obituary

Leo Paul Coro, 80, of Madison passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Maine Veterans Home in Bangor Maine.
 He was born in Anson on January 21, 1941. A son of Mary Virginia Coro. He attended Anson and Madison schools. After high school he proudly joined the United States Army.
 After serving his country he met the love of his life Elizabeth M. Cain of  West Mills. They were married on July 01, 1967 in West Mills. 
 Leo's passion in life was his vegetable garden.  He had a green thumb and he loved caring for it.  Come harvest time he was a very proud man! He also enjoyed bowling and working bingo at the Legion. 
He was a member of the Madison- Anson Senior Citizens and a member of the American Legion, Post 39 in Madison.
Leo is survived by his loyal and loving wife of 53 years Elizabeth Coro, his siblings Robert “Bob" Coro and his wife Patricia,  Julia Ward, Lucy Sinclair and Theresa Kirk. His  Sister-in-law Nicole Coro and his brother-in-law Fred Brown, many nieces and nephews; as well as his friends at the Legion.
 He is predeceased by his mother, his brother's Francis Coro, Roland Coro, Adolph Coro, Albert Coro and J. Raymond Coro and his sister Leah Provost.

 Visiting hours for Leo will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 4-7:00pm at Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple Street, Madison, Maine.  A graveside service will be officiated by Reverend Nathan Richards on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 1:00pm at the Maine Veteran's Cemetery in Augusta. This will be a covid conscious environment.
