Lori A. DelFranco, 56 of Waterville, passed away on March 20, 2026 surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on September 16, 1969, Lori spent her early childhood in West Haven, CT before moving to Maine with her family in 1981. She continued to build her life in Central Maine—graduating from Madison High School in 1987, Kennebec Valley Technical College in 1993, and forming lasting friendships along the way.
Lori was a devoted and loving mother to her two children, Nicole DelFranco (Kent Bradstreet) and Daniel Hawes III (Emily Brownstein), who meant the world to her.
Lori is also survived by her sister, Sheri (Steven) Meucci and their children Mario (Logan) and Antonio (Talyr), and her brothers Mark (Michelle) Snyder and Michael DelFranco, along with many extended family and close friends who will miss her dearly.
She is predeceased by her parents, Judith and Sam DelFranco.
Lori will be remembered for her incredible sense of humor and her famously sharp sense of smell—two qualities that make her unforgettable to those who knew her. She had a way of making people laugh and feel at ease, leaving a lasting impression wherever she went.
A Celebration of Life BBQ will be held on July 11, 2026, with details to be announced by family at a later time.
Lori's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
