Louise Marie (Guay) Lacasse, 73, of Long Pond Twp., ME passed away on November 27, 2022 while at the Cedar Ridge Center in Skowhegan, ME for a brief stay.

Louise was born in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, Canada on February 1, 1949 to Paul and Jacqueline (Couture) Guay. She grew up in Holeb Twp., ME where her dad worked for the railroad as a telegraph operator. Louise enjoyed watching her Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team. She was a loyal Christian with a very strong faith. She especially loved her grandchildren and was famous for giving out chocolates to all of the children who came to visit her. She was a devoted wife, mom, and grandmother. Louise was a very tough individual who fought many illnesses including being a cancer survivor for the past 27 years.

Louise was predeceased by her parents, mother and father-in-law Eva (Couture) and Damien Lacasse, sister-in-law Louise (Allen) Lacasse, and brother-in-laws Mike Heavey and Jon Varney.

She is survived by her husband, Francis, and her two children; Ann (Lacasse) Veilleux and her husband Mark; Timothy Lacasse and his wife Jennifer (Nadeau). Louise is the proud Grammy of five grandchildren; Caleb, Owen, Kaira, Shelby, and Austin. In addition, she is survived by her sisters and one brother; Martha (Guay) Heavey, Lillian (Guay) Crawford and her husband Alan; and brother Roger and wife Jolene (Duval) Guay.
