Madelynn Grace Hassan, 12, of Jackman passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 04, 2022.
She was born in Brunswick, Maine@ MidCoast Hospital on December 27, 2009. The youngest daughter of Daniel J. Hassan Jr. and Sabrina J. Mitchell . She attended Forest Hills Consolidated School in Jackman, where she was in the seventh grade.
Madelynn was an amazing child, she loved hiking, riding horses, doing gymnastics, doing back flips on her trampoline. She loved all animals small an large, an adored her cat “Socks” and spent a great deal of time with her chickens. Madi especially loved long back road drives with her family, going on rides out to Fish Pond an she loved Indian Pond, stopping at streams along the way, she would go swimming everyday if I let her, she loved doing cannonballs, an attacking her Big Sister in some goofy funny way, no matter where we were on some lonely back road, she was up the road, down in a ditch, hanging out of some tree upside down, under a bridge in water up to her knees, finding frogs or just loving the water, always into something, finding some kind of creature to check out . Madelynn loved staying busy, always up for the adventure.. She loved fishing w her Dad, an had just started to learn to drive our truck around the yard, and last winter she learned to drive her Dads snowmobile, she didn’t like the cold much, but she loved the adventure an was always up for trying something new.. We will so miss her Contagious Laugh. Madelynn annoyed her big sister as any normal little sister would, but there were still times they spent together on her trampoline hanging out or laughing an goofing around swimming.
She is survived by her father Dan Hassan, her mother Sabrina Mitchell, her big sister Lilie, her maternal grandparents Tom and Susan Brown, her paternal grandparents late Daniel J. Hassan Sr, and Beryl Stover, Her Uncle Tommy Brown, Her Aunt Cheri Brewer an Uncle David Brewer, Aunt Holly an Uncle Dewey Robins, and a lot of cousins. As well as more friends then she even knew that she had spanning from Jackman to Boothbay Harbor, Maine. She will be missed by so many. Madelynn leaves behind amazing memories of the short time we were blessed to have her with us all….
Madelynn’s Church Service will be at the Moose River Congregational Church @ 11 am on Sat Oct 29th,2022. She will then be escorted by the local fire department to the local cemetery, just down the road from the church to have a Grave side service, then everyone is welcome to her Celebration of Life at Forest Hill School where she an her sister went to school..
