Mark Dover passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a loyal friend to many.
Mark had a passion for drag racing and snowmobiling and loved sharing those adventures with his family. His love for snow and the outdoors eventually led him to move his family from Massachusetts to Maine, where he truly felt at home. He worked for many years as a truck driver and trucking dispatcher until health challenges no longer allowed him to continue doing the work he enjoyed.
Above all else, Mark deeply loved his wife, Karen, and missed her dearly after her passing. We take comfort in knowing they are now reunited together again.
Mark is survived by his daughters, Erin Libby and Melanie Breen; his five grandsons, Brett, Mark, Eric, Adam, and Corbin; and his four great-grandsons, Owen, Theo, Remington, and Myles. He is also survived by his sisters, Dawn Chestnut, Ruby Parziali, Melody Rowe, and Sherri Dover McCauley; and his brothers, Joey, Adam, and Eric Fiaella.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Karen Dover; his mother, Ruthie Beck; and his father, Mark Dover Sr.
A gathering to celebrate and honor both Mark and Karen’s lives will be held at Sunset Cemetery on June 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., where they will be laid to rest together.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark’s memory to the Madison/Anson Snowmobile Club, a cause that would have meant so much to him.
