Mark G. Walraven

     Mark G. Walraven of Somerset County, ME, formerly of Middleborough, MA, passed away unexpectedly on September 21, 2024. Born on June 25, 1955, in Boston, MA to the late Gerard M. Walraven and Norma M. (Kilday). He was the devoted partner to the late Jeanette Clukey of Ripley, ME.

     Mark is survived by his two sons, Mark A. Walraven and his fiancé Brittany, and William E. Walraven and his wife Hannah, both of Plymouth, MA. Beloved brother to Gerard J. Walraven and his wife Susan of Bridgton, ME, Sue Lynn Foley of E. Bridgewater, MA and the late David Walraven. Mark is also survived by his two grandsons, Patrick and Otto, along with many nieces and nephews.

     Having worked in the heavy construction industry for the later half of his career, Mark was proud to have been part of the Big Dig Project for over a decade. Upon retirement he fulfilled his dream and moved to the state of Maine.

     Mark was an avid outdoorsman. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, riding ATVs, and spending time at his camp with friends and family. As a jack of all trades, he took great pride in building and fixing just about anything. His camp was a testament to that.

     Mark will be profoundly missed by all. May we take comfort in knowing he is reunited with Jeanette once again.
