Mary Brown Obituary

Mary D. Brown, 78 of Anson, passed away on February 01, 2022 at Redington Fairview Hospital in Skowhegan following a brief illness.

 

Mary was born on January 18, 1944 in Vassalboro, a daughter of Donald and Laura (Hewses) Berry.

 

She was employed in the health care field as a certified medical assistant for many years at Maple Crest Nursing Home, but will be best remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, sitting in her yard watching the wild life which included two pet deer as well as researching the family tree but most of all her grandchildren. 

 

 Mary is survived by her children, Kenneth L. Brown of Anson, Me., Donald L. Brown and his wife, Virginia of Michigan, Tammy J. Gray and her husband, Alan of Georgetown, Mass., Joseph A. Brown of Merrimack, N.H., and Wendy M. St.Peter and her husband, William of Big Springs, TX.  She has six grandchildren, Ashley Libby, Dillon St.Peter, Dustin St.Peter,  Katrina Brown, Erica Brown and William Brown;  and three great grandchildren,  Carter St.Peter, Madellyne Shaw, and Aubrey St.Peter.  She also leave behind her closest friend Debby Fencik and several nieces and nephew.

 

She is predeceased by her parents as well as her husband Leonard P. Brown, who passed away on January 12, 2012.  A celebration of life is planned for the spring.
