Michael Allen Dionne, 65, passed away on February 3rd 2024 in Bingham. Michael was born on July 28, 1958 in Skowhegan, the son of Norman and Jean-Louise (Campbell) Dionne.
Michael was the second of 3 boys. He was raised in Bingham with his two brothers, Norman Jr and David. He worked for Hannaford most recently as an HVAC engineer before becoming his parents full time caretaker. He was proudest of his 3 daughters and 2 granddaughters.
Michael was predeceased by his parents Norman and Jean. He is survived by his daughters Michelle (David) of New Portland, Caitlynn (Gracen) of Greenbush, Kristen (John) of Pikeville, NC, and two brothers David and Norman and their families. He leaves behind 2 grandchildren Althea and Cora.
Michael had an adventurous spirit and exciting life. He spent time in Georgia and all over Maine, finally landing back in Bingham most recently. He grew up an avid outdoorsman, spending much of his free time fishing and hunting with his family. He loved the outdoors. He loved watching football with friends and surprise visits to his granddaughters with fresh “pupcorn” and strawberries. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend whose family was his pride and joy. He spent as much time as he could enjoying holidays and family gatherings of any kind. He loved life to the fullest everyday, with an unmistakable and infectious laugh that filled a room, he brought happiness to anyone around. A generous and helpful man, he’d offer to lend his time to any who needed him. He was a kind soul, with a giant heart who loved his family and friends with all he was. He will be truly missed.
There will be a graveside service in Robinson Memorial Cemetery Rt. 201 Bingham on June 8, 2024 at 1PM.
