Embden -Nancy Lee Billing, 70, of Embden, Maine, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025, in Skowhegan, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was born on December 22, 1954, in Beaufort, South Carolina, the cherished daughter of Mildred Gilman and the late Alvan "Bud" Gilman.

Nancy graduated from Skowhegan Area high School. She dedicated many years of her life to her work at New Balance before retiring. She was a woman who embodied warmth, kindness, and grace--always smiling, always easygoing, and always ready to lend her heart and hands to those around her.

She loved the simple things in life: playing bingo and pull tabs, knitting and crocheting, and making beautiful afghans for those she loved. Nancy enjoyed traveling when she was able, spending time with family and friends, attending the Windsor Fair, and finding peace by the ocean. Her love for life was genuine and contagious.

Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Samuel Billing; her children, Travis Coro and Nikki Boisvert & husband Rick; and her stepchildren, June Potter & husband Brett, Sammy Billing, and Sarah Bruce & husband Mark. She also leaves behind her devoted siblings: Janet Gilman, Albert Gilman & wife Louisa, Leonard Gilman, and Alvan Gilman II & wife Tammy.

She was a proud grandmother of four grandchildren and a great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren.

Nancy was predeceased by her father, Alvan "Bud" Gilman; her beloved son, Eric Coro; her brother, Edward Gilman; and her sister, Juanita Veilleux.

Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Nancy's life on Monday, June 30th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple Street, Madison, Maine.

Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
