Roberta A. Brooks

Madison, Maine,

Roberta A. Brooks 71 of Madison, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021 at Cedar Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Skowhegan .

Roberta was born on December 16, 1949 in Camden, Maine the daughter of Bertrum A. and Alicia Patricia (Clarke) Brooks. She was educated in the local schools.

She was a very hard worker and known as an entrepreneur who owned and operated several businesses in the Madison area.    A Commercial Long Haul Driver for 14 years. A Madison Grange Member, as well as an Officer and long time member of United Bikers of Maine.

She was predeceased by her sister Clara Glover, her father Bert Brooks as well as her mother Alicia Violette.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Sorg and her partner Scott Moffett of Pennsylvania, grandson Austin Moffett, stepson Ralph Gilcott, and his wife Melissa as well as her sister Sylvia Lesperance and her husband Sean and their children. A celebration of life will Friday at 4 pm at the Madison Legion. A small remembrance ceremony at 6pm.
