Rose Ann Duley, 60, of Anson, was called home by the Lord Jesus Christ on October 12, 2021 following a battle with cancer.
Rose was born in Skowhegan on November 18, 1960, a daughter of Harold and Josepha (Schatz) Price. She was educated in the local schools.
When Jessie and Travis were school-aged, Rose was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with family, reading, watching wrestling, and picking berries out by the old mill behind her parents’ house. During her mother’s stay at Woodlawn nursing home, Rose formed a bond with the staff and then worked there for 9 ½ years as a housekeeper serving the senior citizens of the community. She enjoyed attending High Praises Lighthouse Church where she was baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost. Rose had a great love for animals, especially cats. She would often refer to her pets as her ‘kids’ and could never resist caring for an animal in need.
Rose was predeceased by her parents Harold and Josepha Price, sister Sybille Whitehead, and brother-in-law Gary Buker.
Rose is survived by her daughter Jessica Cyrway and her husband Shawn, son Travis Duley and wife Bobbi, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Curtis Price, brother Frank Braley and wife Ruth, sister Beverly Buker, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery in Madison on October 29, 2021 at 11am with Reverend Brenda Bowley officiating and a gathering for friends and family at High Praises Lighthouse Church to follow.
