Obituary
Roy Albertus Mullin passed away on July 6, 2022 at the age of 86.
Roy was born August 22, 1935 to Leeman and Augusta Mullin at their home in Embden, Me.
Roy attended the local Embden schools and graduated from Anson Academy in 1953.
In 1957 he married Carol Ann Ricker, the love of his life. Together they raised 3 children in a home they built together.
Roy worked 16 years at Quimby Veneer in Bingham until the mill ceased operation. He then went to Woodtek in North Anson where he stayed until retirement.
Roy enjoyed reading Louis L'Amour books, The Uncle Henry's, old tractors and lawn sales. But what he loved the most was spending time with his family. “You don't have to hurry” was something he always said when leaving a visit.
Roy was Predeceased by his parents, two brothers, and his wife of 43 years.
Roy is survived by his son Steven and wife Jane Mullin of Embden, Dale Mullin and wife Brenda of Embden, and Tracy (Mullin) Dawes and husband Ron of North Anson. Grandchildren Curtis, Chad, Shayne, Austin, Paige, Joshua, Jonah and Jessica
A special cousin and his best friend Lawrence Atwood Jr. And a school classmate and lifelong friend Elanor Ketchum. Lastly his rescue dog Tucker who never left his side.
