Sarah "Betty" Beth Walker,  89 of Pleasant Ridge went home to be with the Lord, on December 1, 2021

Sarah was born June 16, 1932 in Parkman Maine to Sterling and Martha (Dyer) Hersey. She was educated in Parkman and Guilford Schools.

She was a member of the Congregational Church and Grange.

Sarah had a passion for her CB Radio, she was known as "Sarah Lee" and she had many friends that she talked to daily.

She loved to Crochet, Knit, and draw and was always sending cards out to family and friends.

She loved to feed the birds, especially her precious hummingbirds. For decades she enjoyed writing in her journals.  She worked for 20 years for Sonny and Mary Wade at Pine Grove Lodge in Pleasant Ridge. 

Sarah had a lot of heartache in her life, loosing 5 of her 10 children. She always was so strong and was a devoted and loving Mother who always put everyone first. Her smile and kindness will always be remembered.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Washburn and wife Gail of Bingham, and Clint Walker of Pleasant Ridge. Daughters, Joan Clark and husband Wilf of Moscow, Jennelle Forsythe and husband Harold of Bingham, and Ivy Beane of Bingham. Sister, Mabel Stadig of Hartland.

Many Grand, Great Grand and Great Great Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Errol Walker, sons infant Joseph, Clay, Chris, Phillip and daughter Dotty. Special friend Clarence Jones.

A graveside service will be held in the Spring with a celebration of her life to follow.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Giberson Funeral Home, 18 River St., Bingham. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to the First Congregational Church, P.O. Box 114 Bingham Me. 04920 or to the Somerset Animal Shelter 123 Middle Road, Skowhegan Maine 04976.
