Steven Young Jr.

Steven Young Jr, 42 of Hartland Maine, (formerly of Chatham, Ma) passed away on Sunday June 4, 2023, unexpectedly, from a car accident. Steven was born July 7,1980 in Hyannis, Ma to Stephen & Debra Young (DuPree) He was the youngest of 4 children. Steven was educated at Chatham high School. Steven loved to travel. (Like a gypsy soul) He really loved to fish, hunt, hang with friends, spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on his face. He was a loving and caring father (his children were always in his heart), devoted son, brother, nephew, and uncle, always thinking of others first. “To know him was to love him.” He leaves his parents that he loved deeply, caring for his mother for the past 4 years. Steven also leaves his cherished loving children, Steven III , Wade, Hunter and step daughter Teresa. His Annoying sisters, Debbie (Jarrad), Danielle (Bob) & Dana (Kevin).His Nieces & Nephews Dana, Johnnie, Jennifer, Joey, Sabrina, Wyatte, Jesse, Breana, Dalton & Seth. Great Niece Makenzie & Great Nephew Charles, whom he adored. He also leaves his Aunts, Sandra (Bill), Brenda (Lee) Uncle Tommy Baker (Kerrie) Cousins, & ton’s of friends from all over. He is predeceased by his Grandparents, Patricia & Tom Baker, Paul Young & Harry & RoseMary DuPree. Also, his beloved Uncles David DuPree & Charles Young & Aunt, Megan Baker. A Celebration of Life will be July 29, 2023 @ the VFW in Chatham, MA (2pm - 5 pm.) (Cash bar only) The Family welcomes all to come share stories, pictures, laughs and even a tear or two.
