ANSON - Tammy L. Murray, 55, went to her eternal home on November 14, 2024. Tammy
unexpectedly passed away from a medical emergency. Family members were allowed by her side
when she took her last breath here on earth.
Tammy was born on October 13, 1969 in Skowhegan. Tammy attended Madison Area Memorial
High School and graduated in 1987. She wore so many hats for the Town of Anson, including
but not limited to Treasurer, Clerk, Recreation Director, and Administrative Assistant. She went
above and beyond for the Anson community and was very dedicated to her career.
Tammy was the daughter of Albert and Nicole Coro. She was survived by her mother Nicole
Coro and mother-in-law Ruth Murray; her husband, Thomas Murray of 30 years; son Levi
Murray and wife Jenna; son Lucas Murray and wife Madison; brother Wayne Coro and wife
Cindy Atwood-Coro; and brother Kevin Coro. Two grandchildren, grandson Lincoln Murray and
unborn granddaughter Lenni Murray; as well as many nieces, nephews and special friends, Teri
Fernald, LeeAnne Newton, Kellie Edes and many more.
Tammy was predeceased by her father, Albert Coro and father in-law Richard Murray.
Tammy was an amazing individual. All her friends and family would tell you how much she
meant to them. She was always there for anyone in need. If she ever got a call from anyone, she
was there to help and support them. Truly the most selfless person you could ever meet. People
like Tammy are hard to come by. She was a true friend, outstanding member of the community,
and most importantly the most caring and loving member of the Murray/Coro family. She will be
missed beyond measure and we all will do our best to make her proud and keep her smiling
down on us.
The pride Tammy took in her family was unmatched. She was so proud of Tom for his hard work
and dedication, and Levi and Lucas for their many outstanding qualities. She loved to watch her
boys play football, hear about all of their adventurous hunting and fishing trips, their day to day
life, and loved to spend time with her grandson, Lincoln.
She loved going to the beach with her mother, Nicole and best friend Teri. She also enjoyed
camping with many family and friends. She loved to ride in the side-by-side; enjoy all the long
adventures in their jeep; and riding around on summer days with the top down in her Mustang
with her dog. She had the best luck at the casino, and most importantly, she loved being
surrounded by her family.
A service will be held in the Spring of 2025, date, time and location to be announced. A
Celebration of Life will be held at the Somerset Abbey, 98 Main Street, Madison ME on
November 30, 2024 from 4 pm to 8 pm
