Wayne D. Bishop

Wayne D. Bishop, 82, passed away on May 11, 2026, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. He was born on September 25, 1943, in Skowhegan, Maine, the son of Gilbert W. Bishop and Forstirina A. Lewis.

Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was self-employed and owned Buddy’s Auto. He had a lifelong love of old cars and especially enjoyed racing and Corvettes.

He is survived by his wife, Agnes A. Bishop, whom he married on October 11, 1986; his daughter, Cheryl; by step-son Glen.and his sisters, Maureen, Janice, and Kathy.

He was predeceased by , his brothers, Bruce and Stephen.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery in North Anson. A gathering will follow at the North Anson Congregational Church.
