William "Skip" (III) Duley

William "Skip" H. Duley III, 61, of Anson, passed away peacefully Monday, January 1, 2018, at Glenridge long term care facility in Augusta, Maine.

Skip was a strong independent (stubborn) man that always had a smile on his face and love in his heart for all who were around him! He had a love for family, friends, music and the outdoors. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; He enjoyed spending time telling his life-long stories to his family, close friends, two daughters and grandson’s! He was really fond of hunting, fishing, hiking and traveling across country. He was proceeded in death by mother Barbara M. Duley, father William H. Duley Jr. and brother Jeff Duley. Skip is survived by two daughters Alicia A. Cole and Sarah J. Duley, and three grandson’s Henry J. Coburn, Joshua G. Cole and Taelor C. Cole as well as his brothers Jayson and Peter and five sisters Melanie, Allison, Cheryl, Betty and Billy.

A special thank you goes out to family and friends who have been supportive and by his side through his journey. Thank you Peter Duley for all of your fun visits and good conversation. Thank you to the staff at Glenridge, Tina Merrifield and her extended family for the care, love and respect you gave to our father.

A private graveside service will be held in the spring for family and friends.
