Luke M. Goodblood, 54, of Burnham. Passed away from an accidental drowning while enjoying a fun filled day with his family and friends on the Kennebec River.

 

Luke was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on May 19, 1962 a son of Percy and Patty (Reynolds) Goodblood. He graduated from Mount View High School, class of 1980.

He was the owner of Libby Meter Testing and he worked throughout the state. He was a Masonic Brother of the, Star of the West , Lodge # 85 in Unity, President and Trail Master of the Pittsfield DriftBusters Snowmobile Club, past president of the Tri- County Trail Riders ATV Club and past Selectman for the town of Burnham.

 

Luke was a friend to all, he always had a story to tell of hunting and fishing and whispering is something that he didn't know how to do. He was always fun to be with or to lend a helping hand. Luke made every moment of each day count, he loved to spend time at camp in Moxie Gore , hunting, fishing and partying with friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren, teaching them fishing, snowmobiling and work.

 

He is survived by his wife Anne M. Goodblood of Burnham, his mother Patty Goodblood and her partner Mike Pease of Waterville, his father Percy Goodblood of Burnham, his grandmother Barbara Libby of Burnham, his brother Todd Goodblood and his partner Kelly Huff of Burnham, his daughter Maegan Trask and her husband Josh of Burnham ,his grandchildren Libby and Luke Trask and his step daughter Mary Cram of Buxton.

 

Luke is also survived by numerous aunt, uncles, cousins and countless friends, he loved them all dearly but their are far too many to name.

A Celebration of Luke's life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at his home at 221 South Horseback Road Burnham, Maine.
