I was saddened to read Luke's obituary in today's paper, but I had to chuckle about the comment that Luke never learned to whisper! I've known him professionally (Dead River Co.) for several years and he was always so pleasant and easy going. Such a tragedy that he died doing something he loved so much-enjoying the great outdoors. He had a smile that could disarm anyone, and a laugh that could be heard from afar. Luke, you touched many in this world and I'm sure you will in the next one. RIP.

Anne , So sorry to hear about Luke's passing this week. I knew Luke mostly through the Pittsfield snowmobile club and really enjoyed working on projects with him. He was truly an outdoor guy and showed it by always giving all he could to help with any club issues or projects that came up. Luke will be truly missed but we will always have great memories to help us though this tradegy.

I'm still in shock over this. When Luke and Todd were kids we were childhood playmates. I'll never forget the time when I went to their house and they wanted me to get on the pony. Well I got on the pony, and the pony moved and I slid right off the tail end! Then there was Luke looking down at me, laughing.
So many childhood memories.
Luke you will always be missed, and never forgotten. RIP
