Preston Tracey Jones, 23, of Fayetteville, North Carolina formerly of Randolph, Maine, tragically passed away December 22, 2017 in New York as a result of a car accident.

He was born January 12, 1994 in Knoxville, Tennessee a son of William Tracy Jones and Pamela Mae Sukeforth Jones. He graduated from Gardiner Area High School class of 2012. During high school he worked for Peaceable Kingdom Farm and was also a delivery driver at Sun Sun Chinese Restaurant in Randolph, Maine. He then joined the United States Army where he proudly served our country for the past 4 years. Preston was described by his superiors as being one of the best soldiers they had seen in years and the best in his platoon.He was currently employed as an inspector at Summit Design and Engineering in Hillsborough, North Carolina.

Preston was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain, he had a great sense of humor and loved to make everyone laugh. You could always count on him to be available to help with anything, he always gave 110% into anything he wanted to accomplish throughout his life, he was very kind and known to some as the gentle giant. He was quirky and funny, a pleasure to be around, Preston like fishing, music, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Although he was a young man, he truly made a difference in the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his fiance Samantha Read of Fayetteville, North Carolina, his mother Pamela Huff and her husband Dale of Augusta, Maine, his father William Tracy Jones and his wife Wendy of La Follette, Tennessee, his sister Callie Jones and her significant other David Grove of Randolph, Maine, his step-brother David Dickens and step-sisters Christina Soucy, Vada Huff, Miranda Miller, several cousins, aunt's and uncle's.

Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 Pm at Giberson Funeral Home 40 Maple Street, Madison. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Christ Community Fellowship Church 43 Maple Street Madison.
