William Frigon, 66, of Moose River, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, October 21, 2016.

 

He was born in New London, Connecticut on February 17, 1950, a son of Robert and Eleanor (Matzdorff) Frigon. He was a 1969 graduate of the Vocational Technical School of Rhode Island.

 

William worked for Colonial Plumbing and Heating while living in Rhode Island. In 1975 he and his wife moved to Jackman, Maine. They had three children, and following in his father’s footsteps he started his own company, W.R. Frigon General Contracting. He was also the local plumbing inspector.

 

While living in Rhode Island he enjoyed the clam cakes and chowder at Iggy’s Doughboys and Chowder house. While living in Jackman, he enjoyed Thursday nights at Schmooses Restaurant, watching Nascar, camping, spending time with his family and friends and his favorite companion, his dog Ralphie.

 

William was predeceased by his father Robert Frigon, a son Adam Frigon and his fiancé Julie Dubay.

 

He is survived by his son Erik Frigon and his wife Suzanne of Pownal and his daughter Michelle Frigon and her partner DJ Glazier of Waterville.

 

He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph Frigon and his wife Gail of Cranston, Rhode Island and Michael Frigon and his wife Anna of Jackman. By two sisters, Rebecca O’Brien and her husband Chuck, and Leslie McKendry and her husband Andrew, all of Jackman.

 

William also leaves behind the mother of his children, Christine Frigon of China, several nieces and nephews, as well as many good friends.

 

A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Hall in Jackman on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 am. A reception will follow at the Legion Hall. All are welcome.
